Creating a New POP Server
- From the Navigation Bar, select SYSTEM
ADMIN > DEVICES >
POP SERVER > NEW.
- This is the “POP Server Devices” screen. Enter information about
your POP E-mail Server.
The items below describe the fields.
CREATE DEVICE
Name: Name of your POP server, which will appear whenever you use
it. Example: “E-mail” Required.
Description: A brief description of your POP server. Helpful,
but not required. Example: "Company Account."
DEVICE INFORMATION TAB
Host Address: The address of your POP server, where you are hosting
your e-mail. Example, kmbs.konicaminolta.us.
Domain Name: You may name the host domain. For example, kmbs.konicaminolta.us.
Port Number: The number of the port that your POP server uses to connect
to your network. 110 is the default port. Required.
ACCOUNTS TAB
Account Name: By definition, POP servers have many e-mail accounts.
Enter the name of the account you need to access. Example, “manny@mydomain.com”

Description: A description of the account. For example, “Company
e-mail.”
Login Name: Same as the login name that you use to access this POP
server through any other means. Required
Login Password: Unique password associated with the above login name.
Required
Confirm Password: Duplicate your password exactly. Required
The pictures show both tabs completed.
You must enter at least one Account before you save the POP server as a device.
Enter the required information and click ADD.
To save your POP server as a device, simply enter the required device information
(main screen and primary tab) and click SAVE.
A successful registration brings you back to the “POP Server Device”
screen, with a message saying that your device has been saved.
Edit or Delete a POP Server Device
- Select SYSTEM ADMIN >
DEVICES > POP SERVER
> EDIT/DELETE.
- You are brought to the “Search” screen. Enter criteria pertaining
to the device and click SEARCH.
- Edit: To edit the device (except the Name), select it from the list,
make your changes, and click Save.
- Delete: To delete the device, select it from the list and click Delete.
Note: Conflicts that may prevent you from deleting
the device will be identified; and must be resolved before you can delete the
device.
