Distribution Points > File Server

Create a New File Server Distribution Point

  1. Click on DISTRIBUTION > POINTS > NEW.
  2. This brings you to the “File Server Distribution Points” screen. The fields used to define a File Server Distribution Point include:
  • Name: Name of the Distribution Point, which you may want to make the same as the server to avoid confusion. E.G.,“NT Server.“ Required.
  • Description: A description of the Distribution Point. For example, “Windows NT Main Server”
  • File Server: Choose the File Server from the drop down menu. Required.
  • File Path: Enter the file path you want DocuBreeze to send your files to. Example, “Test Folder” Required.
  • Add to Group(s): You can add this point to an existing group without having to access Distribution Groups.

    Click SAVE to establish the distribution point.

    Edit or Delete a File Server Distribution Point

  • Select DISTRIBUTION > POINTS > FILE SERVER > EDIT/DELETE.
  • You are brought to the “Search” screen.Enter criteria for a search. Click SEARCH.
  • Select the distribution point you would like to Edit from the list displayed.
  • Edit: To Edit the distribution point, change any information and resave the information. The only information that cannot be changed is the distribution point name. Click SAVE.
  • Delete: To Delete the distribution point, click DELETE.
  • Note: Conflicts that may prevent deletion of the distribution point are identified, and must must be resolved before you can perform a Delete.
