Collection Points > Archive

  1. Create a New Archive Collection Point

  2. Select COLLECTION > POINTS > NEW to go to the “Collection Points” screen.
  3. The steps that follow describe the fields to be entered, and those marked with a red asterisk are required.
  4. Name: Enter a Name for the Collection Point. For example, “Doc Archive (private).” Required.
  5. Description: A Description of the Collection Point. For example, “Sensitive Documents.”
  6. Path: Click the Folder to the right of the field to Browse to the folder in the archive that you are setting as a collection point. Select the archive directory folder (in the left pane) and then double-click on the Collection Folder in the right pane to enter it in the field. Required
  7. Enable Filtering: Mark the checkbox to Filter files collected from the resource point. This tells DocuBreeze to collect only those files with the file extensions indicated.
  8. Filter: Set file names and/or extensions for filtering, using an asterisk as a wildcard to indicate all files with the identified extension. For example, *.jpg will collect only files with a .jpg extension.
  9. Add to Group(s): You can add this Collection Point to an existing group at this point, if desired.
  10. Scan for Bar Code: Mark this checkbox to tell DocuBreeze to look for bar coded files when using this collection point. Use the selections provided to look for the bar code on only the first page or anywhere in the scanned file. Multiple bar codes found in a single file with "All Pages" selected will be treated as separate documents with separate processes. Bar code processes found will override any other task processes.
  11. A sample completed "Archive Collection Points" screen is shown here. Click SAVE to establish the collection point.
